The Cocoon Leather hang chair is designed by Rikke Gjørlund. It is the perfect chair for those who love luxury and quality. It hangs beautifully from the ceiling and will give the room a relaxed and unique atmosphere. Sit in it, and you will feel safe and comfortable, while still being able to look out. The frame is aluminum. This light leather and aluminium frame will give your room a light and beautiful look.
The leathers tanning is affected by means of extraction from plants, bark and fruit falling etc. Vegetable-tanned leather is very susceptible to dirt and stains. Most vegetable leather will get “patina” and darken over time, other becomes lighter (fade).
You will really enjoy this luxury, handmade piece in your home as it is both beautiful to look at and wonderful to sit in. Add one of our many cushion, and the perfect place to read a book is ready for use.
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
If you wish to maintain the leathers patina, we recommend that you wipe the cocoon chair with a damp cloth, on a regular basis.
You should avoid using detergent, bleachers and scourers, only use foam from soap flakes, dissolved in heated water. If you wish to reduce stains, extend the leathers lifetime, and don’t mind that the leather get’s a bit darker, we recommend using leather grease or leather oil. When using one of the above the leather will be nourished and impregnated. Water, grease and alcohol can cause marks and stains, and should be removed as soon as possible. For harsh marks and stains, we recommend that you remove them with an effective leather cleanser.
